Terms of Service
The agreement between you and 10X Innovations, LLC, which operates College Admissions Assistant — what we provide, what we ask of you, and the honest limits of what any guidance service can promise.
College Admissions Assistant is for adults 18 and older: parents and guardians, and students who are 18+.

1. The service
- College Admissions Assistant is operated by 10X Innovations, LLC, a Texas company ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and 10X Innovations, LLC.
- College Admissions Assistant is a subscription service that provides AI-powered college admissions guidance, including an assistant chat, essay feedback, college research tools, application tracking, and educational resources.
- We provide guidance and organizational tools. We are not a college, admissions office, or licensed educational consultant, and we do not guarantee admission to any institution.
2. Who may use the service: adults 18 and older
- College Admissions Assistant is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, to agree to these terms, and to subscribe. Accounts may be held by a parent or legal guardian, or by a student who is 18 or older.
- If you create an account for a student under 18, you must be that student's parent or legal guardian, and you agree to these terms on your own behalf and on the student's behalf.
- Students under 18 may use the service only through an account created and managed by their parent or guardian, who is responsible for all activity on it.
- The service is not intended for children under 13. Do not create an account for, or enter information about, a child under 13.
- The service is offered to residents of the United States.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. When you create an account you confirm that you are 18 or older; if that is not true, you may not use the service and we may close the account.
- One subscription covers one account with one student portfolio. A parent or guardian and their student may share that account's sign-in; a second student needs a separate account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Plans and prices: $9 per month or $99 per year, plus any tax that applies. The price is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and your payment method is charged the price for your plan at each renewal, until you cancel.
- Price changes: if the price of your plan changes, we will email you before the new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
- Free trial: a new account gets one 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is charged for the plan you chose when the trial ends. The trial is available once per account.
- Who you pay: purchases are sold through Link, a service of Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. Link collects payment and any tax, sends your receipts, and appears on your statement. Link's own terms apply to the payment.
- Promotional pricing (such as Early Adopter rates) remains in effect while your subscription stays active; if you cancel and resubscribe, current pricing applies.
- How to cancel: at any time, online, from the Account page (Manage subscription) or from your Link account, or by emailing support@collegeadmissionsassistant.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (or, during a free trial, at the end of the trial), and you are not charged again.
- Confirmation: after you subscribe we email you a confirmation with your plan, price, renewal terms, and how to cancel.
- Refunds: we do not refund partial billing periods, except where the law requires it. You can ask us or Link support for a refund, and Link may grant one under its own rules.
- Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, you keep access for 7 days while the payment is retried. After that, paid features are paused until payment succeeds.
- When a subscription ends: you can still sign in, view and download what you saved, and delete your account, but you cannot add or change content or use AI features until you subscribe again.
4. Acceptable use
- You agree to use the service for your own family's genuine college preparation.
- To keep the service affordable and reliable for everyone, AI features have daily usage limits per account. If you reach one, that feature becomes available again the next day.
- You will not upload content you don't have the right to use, attempt to access other users' data, scrape or resell the service, or use it to misrepresent a student's authentic work.
- Essays submitted to colleges must be the student's own work. Our tools coach and outline; using them to pass off generated text as a student's own writing violates these terms and college integrity policies.
5. AI guidance — important limitations
- The assistant provides general guidance based on admissions best practices and publicly available information. It can be wrong or out of date.
- Always verify deadlines, requirements, and policies against each college's official website and communications.
- Admission decisions rest solely with each college. No guidance, readiness score, or research profile is a prediction or guarantee of admission.
- Financial aid and career information is general education, not financial, tax, or legal advice.
6. Your content
- You retain ownership of everything you upload — essays, documents, and portfolio information.
- You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you.
- You can export or delete your content at any time, including after your subscription ends.
7. Our content
- The site's design, sample essays, guides, and other materials we create are our property and may not be copied or redistributed outside the service.
- If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email support@collegeadmissionsassistant.com with the material, where it appears, and your contact details, and we will review it promptly.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
- We are not liable for admission outcomes, scholarship decisions, or financial aid determinations.
9. Termination
- You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
10. Changes and contact
- We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before taking effect.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
